Terms and Conditions for Educate by Elite Nails Courses

Effective Date: Thursday 5th December 2024

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the agreement between

Elite Nails Leicester Ltd., trading as Educate by Elite Nails ("We," "Us," "Our"), and individuals ("You," "Student," or "Participants") enrolling in our training courses. By enrolling in a course, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

1.1. Educate by Elite Nails is a trading name under Elite Nails Leicester Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

1.2. Our courses are professional training programmes designed to equip students with nail care and business-related skills.

1.3. These Terms apply to all courses, workshops, and related services provided by Educate by Elite Nails.

2. Enrolment and Payment

2.1. Eligibility: Participants must be at least 16 years old to enrol in our courses.Some courses may have prerequisites (e.g., accreditation in Gel or BIAB application). These will be outlined in the course description.

2.2. Booking and Payment: To secure your spot, payment must be made at the time of booking. Some courses may require payment in full upfront. The remaining balance for courses that allow instalment payments must be paid no later than 14 days before the course start date.

2.3. Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or through third-party providers (e.g., Klarna).

2.4. Late Payments: Failure to pay the balance by the due date (14 days before the start date of the course) may result in forfeiture of your place.

2.5. Pricing: Prices are subject to change. However, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the price agreed upon at the time of payment.

3. Cancellations and Refund Policy

3.1. Student Cancellation: Payments are non-refundable under any circumstances

It is at our discretion whether to allow a course date to be moved to an alternative date.

3.2. Course Rescheduling by Us: We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel courses due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer alternative dates or provide a full refund.

3.3. Exceptional Circumstances: In cases of illness, bereavement, or other exceptional circumstances, it is at our discretion to allow rescheduling. Proof may be required.

4. Course Attendance and Conduct

4.1. Punctuality: Students must arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may result in reduced practical time.

4.2. Tools and Equipment: Unless otherwise stated, students are required to bring their own tools. We will notify you of any additional materials needed.

4.3. Behaviour: Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the course without refund.

4.4. Attendance: Full attendance is required to receive certification. Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

5. Certifications

5.1. Completion Requirements: Certificates will be awarded only upon successful completion of the course, including passing any required assessments.

5.2. Accreditation: Courses are accredited by ABT. Certifications are internationally recognised.

6. Liability

6.1. Insurance: We hold appropriate public liability insurance. However, you are responsible for obtaining your own professional indemnity insurance once qualified.

6.2. Limitations: We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the improper use of products or techniques taught during the course.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1. Data Collection: We collect and store your personal information for course registration, payment processing, and communication purposes.

7.2. Third-Party Sharing: Your data will not be shared with third parties except for payment providers or as required by law.

7.3. Marketing: By enrolling, you agree to receive course-related updates and promotional materials. You can opt out at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All course materials, including manuals, videos, and resources, are the intellectual property of Educate by Elite Nails and are for personal use only.

8.2. Copying, distributing, or reproducing course materials without written permission is strictly prohibited.

Failure to complete any of these steps may disqualify you from the refund guarantee, as they are essential to the success of the programme. 9.4. Refund Process: If you meet all the conditions and do not recoup your investment within 90 days, we will refund your course fee in full. To request a refund, you must contact us in writing and provide evidence of your completed efforts to qualify for the refund.

10. Photography and Media

10.1. Consent: By attending the course, you consent to photographs/videos being taken during sessions for promotional purposes.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
